Privacy
We really do value and take privacy seriously. If you value your privacy like we do, please do all of your internet surfing using a VPN – something like the disconnect vpn service, or one of the others will hide much information about you from the internet as a whole, and from most of the sites you visit. You may want to research privacy tools and the EFF more – trust me.
Unfortunately, in early 2017 we got thrust into a situation in which we needed to deploy some extra layers of security. In order to deflect a bunch of abuse, spam, and hackers / crackers – we needed to add some tools that log, record, and share visitor information with third party services. In a haste to stop some hard core hacking, we deployed these tools very quickly. We have not taken the time to vet these services or consider what they may do with the information, how long they may hold on it, if they have ever been hacked or asked or otherwise compelled to share the information they have.
We look forward to a future where more privacy is built in – but it seems that many of the “powers that be” are doing things to slay privacy, to weaken the few protections that were once understood to be out there. So it is going to be up to you and me to get our own shit more secure using VPN services and to share with family and friends the need for a vpn.
We may create future where we all create little vpn droplets with something extra secure like the algo vpn system and use our own dedicated servers that we share with family and friends to really scramble things and keep control of them.
Hopefully, these things will come to be.
As of right now through – if you research browser fingerprinting and three letter agensees you will see that most everything you do online is being recorded by multiple people and groups. In some cases that info is auto-shared and compiled with other data, in other cases it is traded / bought / sold and combined with other data it creates a visit by visit, transaction by transaction picture of who you are, what you do, what you are into, and more. This info is used against you all the time – from brainwashing you into buying things that may not be good for you, to changing the way, or if you vote or not. This info can be used against you in a court of law, and could be used for all kinds of other nefarious things.
Protect it with a multiple chained vpn system, and share that with others.
Otherwise, take solace in knowing that many other people already have surfing data in their permanent profiles / records that show they visit freaky porn sites and fetish chat sites. So you are not the only one.
